But that we do as mentioned above is not useful for us to overcome the bad situation we have. The world is still moving, and the time is still passing. The things what we could do is to help ourselves across the obstruction and get better. How could we do that? The only way is looking ahead, and going straight for the goal and target again. If we renew ourselves and prepare for reach the goal faster, then we could get it faster. For arguments and complains, they do not help but block us to keep going straight. Thus, looking a head is a best policy for us on every mount.

In the past 20 years ago, people always use home phones or public telephones to make a call, or write letters and sent it to others by post office for communication. Further more, we could save a lot of time if we shopping online.

Blog is a place, a way, or a board for people to put on some things on. Some users apply it to record their daily life as writing the daily, and some would like to share many kind of information to others such as restaurants, relax places, tour guides, and so on. For me, I had heard about that many people writing blogs but I did not use it at that time. The first time that I created my own blog and wrote something on is to do the assignment of the English writing course. I have been writing articles for one and half year. I am trying to write down 65 articles on my blog for reaching the amount which is requested by teacher. I hope I could finish it before the latest day of 2010.

A Great Fire

In a very cold day with around 8-9 degree centigrade, I was on my way home by ridding scooter. I saw a department was burning when I was across a bridge from Hsin-tien to Zhong-he. Seconds latter, I heard emergency siren voice form ambulances and fire fighting trucks at back. Many drivers tried their best to leave a space for them to pass through. While I looked back on the fire, it was heavier. At that time, I hope every thing would be alright, and guess it might cause from the heating device. Public health is a serious issue in every country over the world. For the developed countries, they urge their citizen to notice on the public health. And then it would be a common sense in their countries. For the developing countries, they do not care the public health as much as the developed countries. What is the main point causes the difference as that? The most important point might be the economy of countries. If they do not have good economy, others which countries have good economy could support them to solve problems. Thus, the citizen of those countries will have a good public health.

When I was under 18 years old, I wished I could get 18 years old soon. Because when I am 18, I would available to join the examination for getting a driver’s license. If I pass the exam, I could ride a scooter to school. After I had got the driver’s license, I was really crazy on ridding everywhere with my classmates. Sometime we invited some girls of other schools to go out with and enjoyed the time. I remember once I rode scooter very fast, and I was almost having a serious traffic accident. Fortunately, I avoided it. After that, I was stupefied, and drove very slowly. That is the time I realize if we do not consider about the traffic safety we might hurt ourselves. Thus, we should be careful when we ride scooter or drive car.

Night market is a special culture in Taiwan. It starts around 6 p.m. and finishes about 12 a.m. There are many kinds of things selling in night markets. We could enjoy traditional Taiwanese food, buy some fashion clothes, and play some games with friends and family members. Because night market is a special culture in Taiwan, passengers who come from other countries are crazy on it, especially enjoy the many kinds of traditional Taiwanese foods. Thus, if some people who travel to Taiwan, do not forget to recommend them to go to the night market and enjoy the Taiwanese foods.

Failure is the Mother of Success

Sometimes, we would like to do set up the target then make plans to reach it. Few people could get the target after they just tried once. Lots of people might try twice, three times or more to get it. The people who reach the target with their first try are very fortunate, but they might not discover what thing should be careful handled. If I had Twenty Million Dollars

In this world, most people would like to have a lot of money for taking greater life. Due to this reason, they work hard to get promotions and raise the salary. If I had twenty million dollars, I would use them to make more money. For example, I will separate for three parts. In first part, I would buy a house and get regular rent for it. The second part, I would take some investments for more profit from them. For the third part, I would save them with fixed deposit for emergency reserve fund. It is not important to have a large amount as twenty million dollars but how people manage it. If people do not make plan for money management, one day it would be run out.

Never Give up Hope

Hope is a kind of energy to us. It would push us continually to reach the targets we set. In the real world, we might face a lot of problems, be blocked by some things, and lose the energy. There are many things we should across. How could we solve many troubles as that? The most important thing is “never give up hope”. September 9, 2010 is a special day for some people in Taiwan. Because people thing the date seem saying something getting long and long. For this reason, some couples choose to get married at this date, and hope the marriage just like the meaning of the date. In some cities and counties, governments hold a wedding party for people who want to get married at this date for special memories. For example, In Taoyuan county, the government hold a wedding party for 99 people celebrating their marriage of a long time. It is a really interesting active and a special date for them, and they will never forget what they do at this day.

And now, some people might realize why they were punished by their parents after they dug chopsticks straight in a bowl of rice, because that seems to curse somebody on death.

The funeral, which is a ceremony that people prepare to company a person who passed away to the end of his/her live, is very important thing for people of Taiwan. Few of the funeral customs of Taiwan are people should wear black clothes, and company with the dead people by turns, especially for the night. Some people would chant or recite scriptural for the deceased to guide him/her the way to the heaven. And some would like to ask somebody to cry out loudly pretending living people missing the people who passed away very much, and do not want them to leave. Qualities of Being a Good Student

There are certain qualities of being a good student. First of all, students must desire to study something. The desires may give supports to themselves studying hard. For example, when someone really wants to have something, the person will do the best to get it. So, if students have the desires, it also means that they will have much energy to do it. Second, students should practice what they studied for reviewing, so that they could get more understanding form it. It is just like that we may do not get the idea with some things when we meet them at first time, but could catch it after two or three times later. Third, Studying is not always like walk on the flat roads. Sometimes students might get troubles. They will not stop their steps because of those troubles. Instead, they will find solutions to overcome all of them for learn more things. At last thing, it is also the must important thing, students must remind themselves about these three things which are mentioned above, and do it. Good students are not only to understand how to study, but also to accomplish the things they understood. As the quotation said “DOING IS BETTER THAN SAYING”.

Morning People and Night People

Sleep habits of people are different, but we would roughly separate them into Morning people and Night people. In these two parts, morning people usually go to bed early, but night people would like to stay up late. For morning people, they usually take around eight hours for sleep. However, it is very different from the night people who sleep only five or six hours. People who go to bed early usually feel tired at night unlike people who usually stay up late feel having energy and think it is time to do something. On the other hand, morning people are ready to face a day in the morning. In contrast, night people always sleep in the morning if it is possible. So that, it seems when morning would like to go to bed and take a rise, yet night people just feel better to do something at the same time. As all of things mentioned above, these two parts of people have different habits with each other, although they might have same customs sometimes.

How to Drive a Teacher Crazy

There are many ways for driving a teacher crazy. If students who do not care about the scores of themselves or do not care whether they will graduate or not, please follow the methods as below. For the first step, do not obey any rules which a teacher set up. After you did that, teacher might get a little angry about this. Then the teacher will focus on you and find what rules you break. Then you should go on the next step to go opposite way from the rules. For overcoming this situation, the teacher might give you some oral warning, and let your classmates know that what you did is wrong. Further more, the teacher may notice the rules again to all students. At this time, you should ask your best friends who are also your classmates to break some rules in class, such as answer the phone, talk to classmates, listen to the music, and do some strange things when the teacher is teaching in the class. When teacher want to stop the all things you did, please do not forget to say that “you told us that we should learn and do the things what we like”. In reading class, teacher asked us to read the part which is handled by the group, then translated it for classmates. When the translation was not correct, teacher would like to explain what the meaning of the sentence and how to translate it, and we learned how to understand a sentence at the same time. Besides, teacher also asked us to find out one of a reading strategy which is useful for us, then explained that and shared it to the classmates. After we practiced again and again, now we could understand the meaning more correctly of an article. We are not only overcome the fear of standing and reading in the front of the class, but also learned some skills to increase our English reading ability. Now, we could apply these methods on English reading to enhance the meaning of paragraphs and easy to get the main idea of an article.

It is really helpful for us to have a reading class last semester and this semester. In reading class, teacher separates the content of one chapter to many parts, and asks groups to translate it.

At beginning, it was hard for us to understand contends of the textbook because of the grammar problems, the sentence structure understanding, and one word having many kinds of meanings. Therefore, the members of our group had caught the main ideas of a paragraph differently. So that, every one started to compare the translations and discuss why we had different translation on it. After sharing the thought of everyone, the result came out, and the members understood why we translated it differently. So we amended the translation of the paragraph of our group. However, there were still some sentences and structure we did not understand after the discussion.

The Chimpanzee

A scientist, Jane Goodall, has spent her life living among and studying the behavior of our closest relative in the Chimpanzee world. She has observed chimpanzee for long time and has spent so much time analyazing the behavior of  chimpanzees in the wild. She has also worked with other researchers who conduct experiments for comesticated chimpanzees. Then, she found out that Chimpanzees can be encouraged to stretch their minds to the limit. The environmental pressures that led to the evolution of intellectual skills in chimpanzee societies. And, in the wild, almost all behaviors are complicated by endless variables.
