Cooperative Reading Strategy Instruction - 2/2
In reading class, teacher asked us to read the part which is handled by the group, then translated it for classmates. When the translation was not correct, teacher would like to explain what the meaning of the sentence and how to translate it, and we learned how to understand a sentence at the same time. Besides, teacher also asked us to find out one of a reading strategy which is useful for us, then explained that and shared it to the classmates. After we practiced again and again, now we could understand the meaning more correctly of an article. We are not only overcome the fear of standing and reading in the front of the class, but also learned some skills to increase our English reading ability. Now, we could apply these methods on English reading to enhance the meaning of paragraphs and easy to get the main idea of an article.
